PRIVACY POLICY
Your data, handled plainly.
What we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it and how to use your rights. Written to be read, not skimmed past.
1. Who we are
Weblify Ltd (“Weblify”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We design and build websites and apps, and provide branding, SEO, digital marketing, social media and hosting services.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at [email protected]. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because the law does not require one for our activities, but the same address reaches the person responsible for privacy.
2. What we collect and why
We only collect what we need. We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and we do not sell your data.
| What | Why we use it | Legal basis | How long we keep it |

The contact form and WhatsApp
When you press “Send my brief” or “Send on WhatsApp”, your device opens WhatsApp with a message already written from what you typed. Nothing reaches us until you press send inside WhatsApp. If you do, WhatsApp (provided by Meta) handles the message under its own privacy policy, and we receive it. You can choose email instead.
Where it comes from
Almost everything comes directly from you. For client projects we may also receive information from people you ask us to work with, such as your team or other suppliers.
3. Who we share it with
- Hosting and security: Cloudflare, which serves this website and protects it from attacks.
- Messaging: WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us there.
- Business tools: email, storage, accounting and project tools we use to run Weblify. These providers act on our instructions.
- Advisers and authorities: accountants, lawyers, insurers, and public bodies where the law requires it.
We use written agreements with suppliers who handle personal data for us. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it. This site loads its fonts from our own server, so your browser does not contact Google or other font providers.
4. International transfers
Some of our suppliers, and members of our team, work in different countries. When personal data is transferred across borders, we make sure it is protected by an approved safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Ask us at [email protected] if you would like details of the safeguard that applies.
5. How long we keep it
The table in section 2 shows our usual periods. We delete or anonymise data when we no longer need it. We may keep it longer if the law requires, or to deal with a claim.
6. Your rights
Under data protection laws such as the GDPR, you have the right to:
- be told how we use your data, and ask for a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected, and ask us to erase data in certain cases;
- ask us to restrict how we use your data;
- receive data you gave us in a portable format;
- object to uses based on our legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before you withdrew); and
- not be subject to decisions made solely by automated means with legal effect. We do not make such decisions.
To use any right, email [email protected]. We aim to reply within one month, and we may need to confirm your identity first. There is no charge unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) are small items a website saves on your device. We ask for your permission before using anything that is not strictly necessary.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
wl_consent (local storage) | Essential | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, and when. | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Optional, off by default | At the time of writing we do not run analytics. If we add it, it will only start after you accept it in the cookie banner. | Not in use |
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Embedded content from other sites only loads if you click through to it.
Change your choice: at any time, or use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page. You can also clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
8. Security
We protect personal data with sensible technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable suppliers. No system is perfectly secure, so we also plan for incidents and will tell you and the regulator where the law requires.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you think a child has sent us data, email us and we will delete it.
10. Other websites
Our pages may link to other websites, such as client sites we have built. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. We will change the date below and, for significant changes, tell you in a clear way on this site.
